U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius is praising Cincinnati Children’s as a leader in the use of information technology. Cincinnati Children’s uses technology to improve health care and keep more kids from being hospitalized for conditions like childhood asthma.
During a visit to the medical center last week, Sebelius, a Cincinnati native and lead advocate for President Barack Obama’s health care reform law, called her hometown “a big part of the national success story” for the use of digital health records.
